OTS9040 OC3-OC48/STM1-STM16 Mainframe
The OTS9040 Optical Test System provides high measurement capacity. Seven application slots on one cPCI bus segment are available for measurement boards. Modules with high power consumption are supported by the high-performance power supply and cooling system. The system slot is equipped with a cPCI PC board with a Pentium processor. Additionally, the PC board provides one free PMC slot. Thus, one optional PMC module, such as a GPIB module, can be installed. The portable mainframe provides the special supply voltages and interconnections between adjacent slots (THRU-bus and up/down local) required by optical test boards. A complete operator interface is provided to support applications based on Microsoft Windows 2000. Side access is provided for CD Read-Write and floppy drives. A parallel printer connector is available on the rear panel; optionally, an external monitor and keyboard/mouse can also be connected. Additionally, ethernet, USB and serial interfaces are available.
